1930 Ford (Model A) 5 window coupe. Professional build street rod. Rare opportunity to buy a “one owner”, 90 year old car. No expense was spared in this 2014-2015 creation. Bought new in my family in 1931 from Ford dealer in Western N.C., we used the original Ford steel body with minor modifications including new running boards (originals were rusted). We utilized the original outside frame rails, retaining the stamped Ford serial number, as a template to fabricate a reinforced tubular steel frame built to original wheel base dimensions. The frame and suspension, detailed below, more than adequately handle the dyno confirmed 429 HP (new) crate engine. Coupled to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and a Ford posi-traction rear end, this car will GO! There is nothing subtle about the raw power of this 2400# GVW beast. If you are looking for a show quality car that also has breath taking straight line acceleration…this is it.
Body and exterior: Steel Ford body. Rubber roof crown replaced with contoured seamless steel. Fuel tank removed from dash and replaced with custom aluminum tank behind rear fire wall. Rumble seat converted to rear opening trunk. Spreader bar in lieu of front bumper. Rear bumper and tail lights from ‘32 Ford (new). Body and frame painted Dodge Torrid Red.
Interior: New black leather bucket seats and trim. Perforated black leather head liner. Grant leather/SS steering wheel. Digital/analog gauge set w/gps speedometer. Pioneer premium sound system w/ Bluetooth. Hurst Competition Plus shifter. Heat and air by Vintage Air.
Engine: New Blueprint crate engine. 383 cid/ 429HP/475 ft. lbs. torque. Aluminum heads; race cam; Aluminum intake w/750 cam Holley carb. Custom SS headers. Chrome valve covers and accessories. Dyno tested and documented.
