Vehicle Description
For some it is the sound of a big block FE engine rumbling through
the side pipes and the brutal acceleration that pushes you back
when you hit the gas. Others can not help but stare at the
curvaceous fenders and are drawn in by the beautiful craftsmanship
of the aluminum body. From the oil cooler and hood scoop to the
roll bar and fender flares, Kirkham 427S/C's are all about
performance.
Kirkham Motorsports is recognized as one of the leading
manufacturers in the component car industry, building high quality
aluminum replicas. The body and chassis are hand-built at their
facility in Poland. They are then shipped to Utah where the bodies
are filed, sanded, and either brushed, polished, or painted. Over
the years, Kirkham has also supplied some of the bodies and chassis
for Shelby American's CSX Continuation Series Cobras.
Kirkham Motorsports still offers incredibly accurate replicas, but
technology and manufacturing techniques have evolved since the
1960's. Kirkham Motorsports is a quality-focused company, pushing
the performance envelope without forgetting originality.
At the inception of the company, Kirkham Motorsports focused on
building the most accurate replicas in the business. And That is
where this beautiful Kirkham comes into existence. This very early
Kirkham Aluminum Cobra features all the period correct trim and
suspension and frame design. Confirmed with both David and Thomas
Kirkham to be KMP0011.
According to the Shelby Registry, KMP0011 was originally sold to
Jason Len of XKS Unlimited. The owner purchased the car in 2001
from Jason Len. Hillbank Motor Corporation purchased this Kirkham
from that owner.
This Cobra is titled in CA as a 1965 Ford, has 2,999 miles on the
odometer, and is available for $179,950.
