We don't have to tell you this 1933 Ford Factory Five Roadster is a
complete custom build because it already screams it from the
super-sleek style. Plus, you'll also see the driver-oriented
interior, performance fully independent suspension, four-wheel disc
brakes, and the powerful 410+ hp LS3 V8. So your first impression
is that this is the ultimate modern hot rod build, and as you dig
deeper, it only gets better.
First off, you're looking at a body from the masters at Factory
Five Racing. And you know they are precision gurus for style and
speed. This loves to show off the performance-minded style in
details like the low-dipping grille, frenched taillights, and LED
turn signals in the crystal clear headlights for a streamlined
style. Plus, the Factory Five alloy wheels not only add a terrific
shine but also the staggered 17/18-inch size gives this an
aggressive stance. The red paint is a single-stage application with
the right hot rod style. It gives you the same kind of vibe if you
like a matte street machine, or you can always upgrade to
ultra-glossy if you want to maximize the sleekness. Best of all,
there is an impressive amount of choice above the doorline. You
have an awesome aerodynamic coupe, and the full top unbolts for a
roadster. And from there, you can choose a racing roadster
windshield or none at all. In fact, when the top is off, this looks
even meaner, because everyone sees the race-ready roll bar.
The interior has plenty of performance style and plenty of useful
substance. The suicide doors are finished in black and red and that
sets up the full color theme for the inside. You have leather
bucket seats that look and feel great on this low-mileage build.
Full Simpson racing harnesses, a grippy Factory Five sports
steering wheel, a polished tilt column, and a dash dominated by
AutoMeter gauges get you ready for a sports car experience. But as
a true modern build, you also have some nice added comforts,
including power windows and cold-blowing air conditioning.
Tilt the hood forward to see a fantastic powerhouse. This
classic-looking Ford has a very modern powerhouse with a Corvette's
6.2-liter LS3 V8. It's supported by the right pieces, including a
March pulley system, an aluminum radiator with electric fan, and
Hooker headers feeding into the dual exhaust and Flowmaster
mufflers. The full package is putting down 413 horsepower at the
rear wheels, and we have the dyno sheet to prove it! The 4L60 E
four-speed automatic transmission was developed to handle LS motor
power, and at the same time, it can deliver overdrive comfort via
Connect and Cruise. Factory Five also builds an outstanding
chassis. It's a strong setup on which you have the right suspension
components like an independent A-arm front end, a 2015 Mustang
independent rear, and adjustable coilovers all-around. Add in
Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and the grip of
modern performance tires, and this mean machine is quite confident
on the asphalt.
The sale comes complete with build receipts, service manuals, and a
dyno sheet. This is retro performance with all the right modern
equipment. So don't miss out. Call now!
