Vehicle Description
This 1990 Chevrolet Blazer K5 has the ideal lifted 4x4 stance,
enhanced V8 power, and the overall appeal of the classic SUV that
still has a removable hardtop. It all makes for an impressive
package, especially at this affordable price.
These full-size Blazers seem to have a perpetual appeal because
they start with the beefy/boxy look we love on the C10s of this
generation and make them ideal. After all, they have an almost
square profile that would make a short bed Silverado pickup
jealous. And the lifted stance adds to this boldness. But of
course, the biggest boldness comes from the upgrade to yellow. It's
a newer application that is vibrant enough to almost glow in the
dark. But you'll also appreciate the overall quality. It has a good
gloss that shows off the crisp creases body panels, there's premium
level trim, and you even have a tasteful tan pinstripe that
coordinates with the removable hardtop. So you have brawn with a
touch of beauty, and that seems to fit the overall theme well. This
has plenty of distinction, with bright chrome bumpers, polished
15-inch alloys, and the unique front end that was only available on
the last few years of this long-running K5 generation.
The exterior pinstripe goes well with the seats, door panels, and
dash pad inside. So it's a nice thoughtful touch on this Blazer.
There are even tasteful velour inserts on the seats and door panels
for a detailed and uniform custom style. This is built with the
driver in mind with high-back front bucket seats and a center
console in-between. You feel truly in command with the wraparound
instrument panel that includes a tilt steering column, an upgraded
AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth, and controls for the heater (this
was born with A/C but the compressor was deleted for the sake of
added power.) There's plenty of room for family and friends, and as
a full-size SUV, you have room for their gear, too. In fact, the
rear section is built for an outdoor lifestyle with liner paint for
easy use and cleaning. And the power rear window goes down to give
you a wide tailgate, and so you just know this one will be great
for everything from the campsite to ballgames.
Under the hood is a well-built small block. This 350 cubic-inch V8
is enhanced with Trick Flow aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, an aluminum intake, and Hedman long tube feeding the
dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. The motor fires up with the
confident feeling you want in an SUV like this. The lifted
suspension, Toyo Open Country tires, and two-speed 4x4 transfer
case are great for off-road work. But this one wants to be a good
all-around classic. So you have an added Rancho steering stabilizer
to feed solid on the pavement. Plus, there's power steering, power
brakes, front discs, and a four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive.
Complete with owner's manual, this has the right investments for
added style and added ability. So you're going to love it for both
its stance and substance. Call today!!!
