Vehicle Description
This 1965 Shelby Cobra CSX4824 underwent a restoration that was
completed in December 2006 and is listed in the Shelby Cobra
Registry. Powered by a 428ci V8 iron block engine with aluminum
heads and a 4-barrel carburetor backed by a TREMEC 5-speed manual
transmission with 1,216 miles (title reads mileage exempt).
Equipped with dual cooling fans, single chrome roll bar, aluminum
radiator, black quick jacks, coilover shocks, tinted visors, wind
wings, 4-point harnesses, Shelby gauges, Baer racing brakes and a
Shelby Salisbury rear end differential. The fiberglass body is
finished in Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White stripes, and it
rides on 15-inch drive knock-off wheels.
