Vehicle Description
This 3-door 1970 GMC 4-wheel-drive Suburban is powered by a rebuilt
350ci GM V8 engine paired with a GM 350 3-speed automatic
transmission coupled to an NP205 transfer case. It underwent a
complete frame-off restoration completed in 2021. The body was
stripped top to bottom with all the metalwork completed, epoxied
and primed, and was finished in Sherwin-Williams Barrett-Jackson
Modified Muscle Car Series Hugger Orange - PCRS74. U-Pol Raptor
protective coating was applied to the underside for chip and sound
control. The frame, radiator support, inner fenders and axles were
also powder coated. The interior includes Highlander Orange plaid
cloth from SMS Fabrics, new carpet and weatherstripping, and custom
one-off door panels with aluminum and stained oak that captures the
period-correct look. The dashboard includes a wood-grain dash and
glove box. The rear cargo area was also customized by replacing the
factory plywood with oak planks and stainless strips. Comfort is
handled by a factory air conditioning with an additional factory
rear underseat heater. It rides on NOS 4x4 Rally wheels wrapped in
BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
