The all original numbers matching L79 350 Cubic Inch engine has 350
horsepower with its four-barrel carb, 11:1 compression ratio with
domed pistons made of forged aluminum, Chrome Open-element air
cleaner, chrome Ignition Shielding, Smog Pump, Cast Iron Exhaust
Headers, and sits in the like new detailed engine compartment.
It runs the iconic M21 Close Ratio 4-speed Transmission, a
Positraction rear end, and rides on the factory Rally Wheels with
chrome trim rings and center caps and White sidewall tires, with
the dual exhaust exiting out the back.
These Corvettes are smooth riding and put the power to the ground
with an inverse leaf spring independent rear suspension. The 68
model has vacuum operated flip up headlights and a vacuum operated
windshield wiper cowl.
Interior
The interior is just as delivered also with the beautiful black
factory bucket seats that are every bit as comfortable as they
look. It has the matching black door panels. Black plush carpets,
wood steering wheel, the original AM/FM radio, buzzer warning
system that still operates upon entry, fiber-optic headlight
monitors, clear gauges show crisp markings and bright needles, both
ahead of the driver and in the center stack, and the middle
console, and of course that great M21 chrome 4-speed shifter ready
to row thru the gears.
T-tops give even the coupes an enjoyable open-air experience and
with tight weather-stripping throughout and storage behind the
seats is easily accessed and roomy.
Exterior
Beautiful Silverstone Silver Paint really pops against the chrome
accents and rally wheels with slim white sidewall tires provide a
classic and clean look.
The curves on C3 Corvettes are very sleek and racy with the working
flip up headlights that add to the sports car appeal, dual chrome
exhaust tips exiting the rear look and sound great, and all the
chrome looks great too.
