Vehicle Description
This 1929 Ford Pickup Roadster has fuel-injected V8 power, a supple
leather interior, a mean matte black style, and an even meaner
exhaust growl. So dig into the pics and details, because this is
one complete build from every angle.
This truck has a cool attitude that combines the original hot rod
spirit with modern touches. It starts with the paint. The hot rod
era got us hooked on matte black, but the way this one has such a
smooth and even finish you just know it's a modern application that
went down with care. This one doesn't use superfluous chrome and
has a blackout grille and windshield frame. The result is a meaner
look, that draws added attention to the polished performance
pieces, like the dual exhaust tips and slotted mags that are
staggered front/rear for a terrific stance. It's the dark heart
pirate of the streets, and the removable custom wooden bed rails
like to really showcase that. There's even a leather-strap treasure
chest that gives you good storage to keep the wood bed looking
clean.
There was nearly $2k recently spent on the soft top. The tan canvas
has tight stitching and nice details to add some extra style. And
if you like the black and tan combo it shows off, then you'll love
the tan leather interior. It's nicely detailed to be a driver with
good bolstering on the seats, full carpeting, and well-finished
door panels. You even have good driving music with an AM/FM stereo
with CD changer and remote, but it's thoughtfully hidden under the
seat to keep the dash uncluttered. Instead, the dash keeps a
classic style with reproduction Moon readouts with the large speedo
in the center. The banjo-style steering wheel, tilt column,
side-mounted tach, and Lokar floor shifter round out a package that
takes the classic hot rod feel and upgrades it for modern
comfort.
You'll love lifting up the piano-hinge style hood at the car shows
to showcase the tidy V8. This is a 307 cubic-inch small block with
upgraded to tuned port fuel injection. You'll spot all the right
features, like shorty headers and an aluminum radiator with dual
electric fans. We also have over $1,000 in recent receipts for a
tune-up and components. So it remains a strong runner. And the
sweet exhaust note from the dual exhaust is going to make you want
to take this out every sunny day. And you can drive it any time
with ease thanks to a solid setup. You have a four-link drop axle
front end and a four-link rear with coilovers. There's also a
three-speed automatic transmission, power brakes, and front
discs.
The sale comes complete with a front bra, car cover, and build
receipts. It all goes to prove this is a cool roadster that's a
thoughtful total build. Call today!!!
