This 2002 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat Supercab Flareside is a different
kind of survivor. It was built to be a cool cruiser, so we are not
surprised to see it didn't haul lumber for the last 20 years. But
with the shine on the custom tri-tone paint and only averaging
about 3,800 miles annually, it's the loaded modern classic that has
been exceptionally preserved.
Tuscany was one of a handful of conversion companies that for a
brief period turned their attention from making comfortable vans
and started building exceptionally cool trucks. It gives this
pickup the look of a road king. The bold Toreador Red has a nice
metallic glow and a deeper more sophisticated ton than the cherry
kinds of hues. So it blends well with the two-tone champagne stripe
and coordinating lower section. And you just have to love how the
matching full body kit hugs every curve of the stepside body. There
are plenty more thoughtful details like the custom fog light front
valance, color-matched bug guard, color-matched rain guards, a
trailer hitch, and an aerodynamic soft tonneau. Plus, we love the
way the Prime 16-inch alloys have a wave-like form that goes well
with the sides.
The interior has a nice custom touch with the tri-tone leather
seats. Tuscany built a reputation on building conversion vans that
could eat up miles with ease, and with a power driver's seat, you
know this truck can do it, too. But the leather here has the same
look as the exterior where it shows good care and less use from the
low mileage. You have half-doors to make it easier for passengers
to access the rear and/or fold up the seats for added secure
storage. This has all the best features, including power windows,
power locks, keyless entry/alarm, sliding rear window, dual
airbags, a tilt steering column, the factory AM/FM/CD stereo, and
cold-blowing air conditioning.
The 5.4-liter under the hood is part of the more modern Modular V8
era. That means a well-rounded power package featuring fuel
injection. It's a strong powerhouse that fires up with plenty of
eagerness. And a modern truck like this also means it's built for
all-around enjoyment near or far. That's why you have features like
cruise control and a four-speed automatic transmission with
highway-ready overdrive - items that are hard to find on older
classics. Add in power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes,
and this cool custom has an everyday kind of practicality.
The sale comes complete with terrific paperwork like the original
window sticker, dealer invoice, warranty card, and owner's manual.
This is the shining custom cruiser that still keeps the practical
pickup attitude. So if you love to be distinct while still being
capable, you need this F-150. Call now!
