This 1991 Ford F-150 Supercab is an XLT Lariat that came out of
California and is great original, rust free condition. This is a
well cared fro truck that runs and drives down the road really nice
and would make a great every day driver or weekend cruiser for
someone. The body on this truck is really clean, straight, and
solid. It appears to still have all of its original paint that
shows some patina but still looks great. The colors are White and
medium Scarlet. It is a cool color combination. There are new side
moldings on the truck because the original ones were aged. The
underside is also very clean and solid. We found no rust issues
with this truck as you would expect from a California vehicle.
The interior is in really nice original shape. It has bucket seats
with a center console and everything is in excellent original
condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. The gauges are working and the power
windows and locks are working. The heat, cruise, horn, and wipers
are working. This is an AC truck but the AC is not blowing cold at
this time.
Mechanically this truck is wonderful. It has obviously been well
maintained. It has the 5.8L 351 Windsor V8 that runs strong with no
issues or red flags that we found. It appears to be all stock. The
transmission is the E40D Automatic that shifts nice. It is mated to
the borg Warner manual transfer case and the 4WD works like it
should. It has the 8.8 Rear Axle with 3.55 gears and the front axle
is the Dana 44 TTB with 3.55 gears. This is all sitting on a set of
Factory Ford Rims with nearly new 31 Inch Toyo Open Country All
terrain Tires.
