This 1979 4WD FJ40 has a 350 V8 mated to a 4-Speed manual
transmission. This FJ40 has an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and
Edelbrock valve covers, additionally it has a Summit Air Cleaner.
With a 350 V8, and a 4-Speed manual transmission this baby will
move, and being 4WD you will not be stuck on the road or out on the
trails. Dual exhaust which comes out both sides only adds to its
tough looks with the big tires.
This FJ40 is bad to the bone an outer appearance starts with a grey
metallic paint in very good condition and is complimented with a
black heavy metal front bumper. The heavy duty front bumper is set
up for a winch if you wish to add one. It has matching side step
rails while you enter the Fj they look great and are very
functional. All hinges are color keyed to match the grey metallic
finish and give attention to the details. This bad boy also has
33x12.50 15R rugged tires on Dick Cepek Wheels which gives you the
SUV tough look
The interior has grey leather front bucket seats with arm rests
built in and are in excellent condition, along with a grey cloth
and vinyl rear seat. The interior floor has been rubber coated in
black and matches the overall look of black and grey theme. This
FJ40 is optioned with power steering, power brakes, AM/FM/CD/Ipod
Accessory jack, and added tach. When driving this FJ40 you will be
noticed as you do not see to many of them on the road today. The FJ
was Toyota answer to the Jeep it is sharp, dependable and rugged
all rolled into one.
