Equally at Home on the Track, Highway or Center Stage
The current owner of this 1971 Pontiac GTO Convertible took
possession earlier last year and he informs us that this classic
originally sold in NY. More importantly, this mean muscle car has
been completely overhauled over the past few months and modernized
into an even more incredible performance vehicle than the original.
The immaculate engine compartment resembles a late-model sports car
with a brand new drivetrain, accessories, wiring and hoses-
absolutely everything has been replaced over the past few months
and the quality is spectacular. The photographs simply cannot fully
do this one justice since it is like-new throughout.
Additionally, this 1971 Pontiac GTO Convertible has a stunning,
factory correct exterior that looks like its right off the cover of
a magazine. The Laurentian Green with the white convertible top and
interior is an excellent color combination that really makes this
example stand out. With highly tasteful modern upgrades such as the
digital dash and a Hurst shifter, this is a classic that could be
comfortably driven anywhere or turn heads at virtually any show.
The custom vinyl bucket seating and door wraps are all top of the
line and add a touch of luxury to this otherwise fierce muscle
car.
In terms of performance, this 1971 Pontiac GTO Roadster does
everything at extreme levels from initial acceleration to handling,
braking and cruising at high speeds. The LS3 V-8 delivers a
satisfying growl from the custom exhaust and this classic is
insanely quick along straightaways or even through the curves. Even
though it's investment-grade quality, this example was obviously
built for performance and it will be exceedingly difficult to use
it simply as a show car.
One of the Most Iconic Muscle Builds We've Seen
Overall, this 1971 Pontiac GTO 2 Door Convertible is a
show-stopping muscle car that's been fully overhauled for modern
muscle and performance. With an endless build list and very high
collectability, this example should find a new home quickly and
it's ready to be enjoyed for decades. For more information about
