Extensive Customizations to This Highly Optioned Example
The current owner of this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible acquired it
in 2015 and almost immediately began overhauling it to the pristine
muscle car you see before you today. He informs us that this
example was a rare optioned vehicle from the factory in "Triple
Turquoise" with factory air conditioning, which allows the Vintage
A/C to be used through stock controls and vents. The rear end
housing has also been narrowed to allow for the oversized
275/40ZR-17 rear tires, which give this classic muscle car an
excellent ride quality with the upgraded suspension and shocks.
Also during the full overhaul of this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible,
it received a modern LS3 V-8 engine and a 4-speed automatic for
modern performance and reliability. The overall performance of this
desirable example is off the charts and it could easily be driven
to shows across the country with upgraded cooling, braking,
suspension and so much more. The raw acceleration is outstanding
and one lucky new owner is going to enjoy this classic for quite
some time- the build quality is truly second to none.
In terms of present condition, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible
shows excellent in person with laser straight body lines, a
shimmering exterior and very nice metal work all the way around.
The stance is a hair more aggressive than stock and it really suits
this vehicle well when driving or on display. The upgraded interior
is also immaculate with only the slightest of imperfections keeping
it from brand new condition. You'll also find a nicely sorted
engine compartment that would look at home on a modern luxury
sports car. No expense was spared in this iconic build and it has
to be seen in person to fully appreciate
One Of the Most Outstanding Examples Nationwide
Overall, this 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible is one of the most
tremendous one-off builds we've come across in years and this
vehicle's provenance with rare options makes it all the more
appealing. With recent market trends on there hard to find
examples, this one is an excellent value at the current asking
