This is a very solid, running and driving car. Drivetrain is the stock straight 6 cylinder, 161 cu. in. engine with a 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive. The car runs very well- we have not road tested due to salt on the roads. I shifted into 2nd gear in the parking lot and all seemed good. Clutch and brakes felt good. Suspension is all stock.
Body on the car is overall very solid. Check out the underbody pictures- floor pans and rockers are very good. Front of the passenger floor and the spare tire well were patched at some point in the past. Driver's floor has a very small rust hole but could be easily patched depending on the direction you are going with the car. Paint is older but still presentable. There was an area around the driver's door lock and right under the driver's door window that was touched up. All the chrome and trim is on the car and in good condition. Rear bumper has some surface rust on the top and front bumper has some starting on the underside. All the glass is good- back window has a spot where it was scratched but it doesn't affect anything.
Interior appears to have been done during the restoration and is in very nice condition with nothing worn through or torn. Headliner is very good. Speedometer and odometer are working. Radio, fan, heater and gas gauge are not working. The windshield wipers and all the lights are working like they should.
There were 12,818 of these built and this is number 675- who knows how many have survived. These are very unique cars and you will turn heads where ever you go.
