Just out of decades of storage here is dry and rust free Arizona, 1949 Buick Super convertible.
The previous owner, a 93 year old gentleman passed away recently and the car was brought out of covered and dark storage.
The car is in very good to excellent condition. In 2005 it had 39147 miles on the odometer, today 16 years later it has 39189 so it has been driven around 40 miles in the last 16 years.
We have gone through brakes, fuel system, the PW, P-seat and P-top and they all work excellent and the car runs as well as it did before being put in storage. It really runs excellent! We also had the radiator rodded out and pressure tested before installing it again.
4 new radial www tires were just installed, new battery.
The Buick does not need any additional work to be enjoyed as is.
The body is excellent, the paint is good, the interior is 95%+. The top might be original to the car so it is somewhat dry but still usable as is.
The chrome is great, not 100% perfect but very, very nice.
The car was ordered with the Dynaflow automat transmission by the way.
