1973 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring For Sale - LS376/525hp Crate
Engine, 6 Speed Manual LMC is very proud to offer for sale this
1973 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring Building off the huge success of
the 1st Generation Camaro, the 2nd Generation was lower, longer,
wider and dubbed more of a driver's car by GM. In this period,
racers used this platform's new capabilities in the 1970 Trans-Am
season with the "Chaparral" Camaro which although never won that
year, was still extremely competitive. Today custom car builders
have found the second-generation F-body platform to produce some of
the best performing pro-touring cars around. Starting with a 1973
Camaro, this example was transformed into a complete pro-touring
machine. Painted in a beautiful shade of British Racing Green this
Camaro has been transformed with the help of some of the best
available aftermarket parts. The exterior has been fitted with
Anvil Carbon fiber "Super Bulge" style hood, trunk lid and spoiler.
The black interior is fitted with a set of bucket seats borrowed
from a 2005-2006 Ford GT, Anvil Auto carbon fiber gauge cluster
panel, Detroit Speed roll cage with harness bar, Takata harnesses,
Classic Instruments Autocross Series Gauges, Momo Prototipo
steering wheel And Vintage Air. Powering this Camaro is the proven
GM LS376ci/525hp crate engine paired with a Tremec 6-speed manual
transmission and Ford 9inch differential with 3.70 gear ratio. The
exhaust exists through a set of long tube headers attached to the
Borla 3" stainless steel exhaust system which produces a mean
sound. An upgraded aluminum 4 core radiator with dual SPAL fans
increases cooling capacity during spirited driving. Suspension is
the most part of any pro touring build and this car was fitted with
Art Morrison front suspension and RideTech rear 4-link system. The
improved suspension architecture utilizes RideTech HQ single
adjustable coil-overs. Braking has been upgraded with Wilwood 6
piston brakes, calipers front and 4 piston in rear. Finishing the
appearance are a set of Vertini wheels in 19x9.5 with 285/30-19
front and 20x12 with 335/25-20 rear. If you are looking for that
perfect balance between vintage class, modern performance, and
updated style and amenities, all wrapped up in a stunning package
ready to be driven every day, then this Camaro is for you.
