Description: Professionally built in 2012-2013 by BMW experts “Race Craft”, in Woodenville, Washington at a cost in excess of $100,000. Complete bare shell body and paint. Complete mechanical build up from A to Z. Pro built 2.0-liter engine on Weber DC0E 48 carbs, close ratio steering box, close ratio gearbox, limited slip differential, full roll cage, OMP race seat, Schroth 5-point harness valid through 2024, fuel cell, Cool Suit system, and fire system. Consistent race prep as needed. Last raced October 2019 at CSRG Sonoma. A stunning example of a pro-built BMW 2002 race car.
Engine:2.0-liter inline four with dyno sheet showing 221.8 hp at 7800 rpm, 167 lb ft torque at 6200 rpm.
Gearbox: Close ratio 5-speed
Recent Service: Recent service to include new clutch, water pump, valve adjustment, new valve cover gaskets, engine tuning, and brake bleed. New brake fluid, clutch fluid, transmission fluid, and differential fluid. Oil change, new filter, fuel tank drained, new race fuel, new battery. Nut and bolt check of all suspension.
Of Note: Raced successfully with SOVREN, HMSA, CSRG in B Sedan. Beautifully turned out in white with blue and red center stripes. Has HMSA and SOVREN log books. Three binders of records and photos showing race build and service records. This very competitive BMW is ready to race.
