The Dodge Ramcharger was Chryslers entry into the full-size, 4x4 SUV market to combat the Chevrolet Blazer and the Ford Bronco. This 1988 Dodge Ramcharger 4x4 falls into the second generation of this great SUV's production. This Ramcharger is a factory 4x4 model powered by its fuel-injected 5.2 liter V8 and backed by its Loadflite 727 3-speed automatic transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just like they should. Transferring the power from the fuel-injected V8 to both the front and rear tires are the Dana 44 front and rear axles. Originally, these axles would have been equipped with automatic locking hubs, but this truck has been converted to manual locking hubs. Other than the manual locking hubs, the drivetrain of this truck is very stock and unmodified. The Black and White exterior of this Ramcharger is in above-average condition for the age and still shines very well with the exception of the roof that does have some clearcoat/paint fade. The exterior is complimented nicely by a set of polished aluminum wheels wrapped in brand new Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires, a four inch lift, chrome mirrors and chrome bumpers. The bottom-side of this truck is very original and rust-free with no evidence of any bodywork. The factory Red cloth interior is in excellent condition for the age with very little wear showing. Both the front and rear seats are absent of tears and the dash is free from any cracks. This truck is nicely optioned with factory power front disc brakes, factory power steering, factory air conditioning (In-op), aftermarket AM/FM/Bluetooth stereo, intermittent wipers, center console and tinted windows.
