1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Town Sedan. Recently built to show off her original side, but this one has plenty of get up and go under the hood. Powered by a fresh Chevy Blueprint 350 crate motor paired with a TH350 Transmission. The engine was dyno tested at 378 HP so she’ll move. US Radiator triple flow 4 row radiator to keep her nice and cool. Chassis Engineering Mustang II manual rack with disc brakes. ‘82 Camaro 10 Bolt Rearend with drum rear brakes. This car says original, but look closer you’ll see modern day items that separate her from the others. Summit Racing tilt steering column with one of a kind custom Con2R two tone steering wheel with ‘40 Chevrolet horn button. Lokar Shifter, Vintage Air heater / defroster to keep you warm during those cool night cruises. Wood grain dash and door garnish are in nice shape. Dakota Digital gauges are a perfect addition with glove box clock to match. Inside the glove box, JVC deck. A single Pioneer speaker now sits in the original speaker spot, two Kenwood 6x9 on the back seat window deck and a Rockford Fosgate 12” sub in the trunk. The undercarriage has been sanded and coated with black rubberized sealer, New Gas Tank, Dual exhaust with 12” Glass Packs. NO A/C or Power Steering, but those can be easily added. She’s sitting on 15” Coker aftermarket Artillery wheels with Chevrolet center caps that match perfectly with the 1940 era. The tires are 165R 15 Radials with a 2.5” white wall. Matching spare tire/rim in trunk. The paint is an older spray with a couple of small dents and scratches, but still very presentable. Chrome has been redone, stainless brightwork trim is in nice shape. The interior was recently done and new headliner added, the sandstone color velour fabric makes for a great original look.
