Vehicle Description
1988 manual RX7 Convertible, with clean California title, clean
Carfax, zero accidents, and currently registered. This collection
worthy Mazda has had the same owner for 34 years, and was recently
acquired by the current custodian in 2021. This convertible has
only 43,681 miles, all of which were driven by the original owner,
the current owner has only driven the car 300 miles in the last
year. The car has been serviced regularly, and doesn't have any
mechanical issues that need to be addressed. Cosmetically the car
was well preserved, and it shows; flaws are hard to find. This
classic convertible has legendary sharp 80s styling, with some
great period features. The power convertible (excellent condition)
works perfectly, and has the option of converting to a targa. There
is a tonneau cover in the trunk, and a cover for the targa roof.
Other features include Pioneer CD/Tape/Radio factory stereo with
headrest speakers in the seats, ICE COLD A/C, cruise control, power
windows, dual exhaust, legendary BBS wheels, and of course; pop-up
headlights! Tires are great, with 80% tread left. All of the car's
features work as they should, all electronics work. One speaker
(driver lower dash) is raspy sometimes. Interior is very
presentable and shows well. This little Mazda performs very well,
despite its age. Lightweight rear wheel drive car, combined with a
5 speed and 7k red line, makes for a very fun ride. Especially on a
twisty road, this car performs very well in the corners, handling
is very tight, and steering is dependable. The black exterior is in
really good shape, paint is full of gloss (has always been
garaged), and any flaws are very hard to find. This car includes 3
keys, original manual, and BBS wheel lock tool. This Japanese
classic paved the way for Mazda's future legendary lineup. 80s
sleek styling and innovative engineering secured its place among
automotive greats. If you have been contemplating acquiring a RX7,
this excellent example.
