Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe,
with gorgeous red interior
powered by the numbers matching L36 427/390 big block engine and
Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The 427 engine runs strong has
been rebuilt with
receipts shown in
the pictures and appears show quality under the hood. The
engine
compartment is in
amazing condition with new chrome valve
covers, nice
original chrome ignition shielding, many other
factory correct components.
Nicely
optioned
with
power
steering and power disc brakes and sounds great
with newer dual exhaust. The factory correct red interior is in
amazing condition and is
code-407
and is a mix of newer seat covers and carpet and very well
preserved dash, gauges, original Corvette stereo and has power
windows. The removable t-tops and rear window are in excellent
condition and makes this Stingray a blast to drive in the fresh
air. This rare well preserved Corvette came from a long past
ownership where it was enjoyed for years then put into long-term
storage for safe keeping. The 972 code Can Am White paint looks
amazing for being painted twenty years ago.
the
fiber glass body has excellent body fitment including the hood,
doors and headlights. The glass appears all original and is in
great condition which is a testimony to the care of the car. All of
the chrome and stainless trim is original and is in amazing
condition for
it's age. Like most older paint there
may be minor rock chips from driving pleasure and there is very
light checking in a couple areas that
can be seen on
close visual inspection.
Because this incredible Corvette is so well preserved and
original, we intend to sell it running and driving as more of a
survivor car that has mostly original parts. . We have flushed the
fuel
system and the brakes have been serviced and replaced as needed for
safety.
This is a great opportunity to own a very original, numbers
matching big block Stingray at an affordable price.
Rolling on original 8" rally wheels with chrome caps and rings. The
Goodyear Eagle GT
radials look
great on the car and have lots of tread, but should
probably be replaced
before going a long trip
because of
their age.
