1963 Mercedes-Benz 190SL finished in Signal Red paint with white
interior with included removable color-match hardtop. Paint is in
good shape overall, has an older repaint and does show some
imperfections here and there. There are some touch up spots where
the top interacted with the paint on the body of the vehicle, see
pics. This car is titled as a 1963, but the chassis number would
fall into the parameters of a 1962 model year. This car was first
titled in August, 1963 according to the paperwork from the original
owner in Phoenix, AZ. It was not driven in any bad weather, and it
certainly shows. This does have a clear title, not an issue there;
we just want the next owner to be aware of this. Chrome and
brightwork in good shape and really makes that red pop! Powered by
the 1.9L SOHC Inline 4 cyl that is paired with a 4-speed manual
transmission that are fully synchronized with a 12 volt system. 2
Weber carbs have been installed along the line, this also does come
with the dual Solex carbs. Riding on the red wheels with Mercedes
wheel covers, beauty rings, and white wall radial tires. This car
is a true roadster, it does come with a removable hardtop but never
came with an attached soft top. This car was not ordered with side
mirrors either. White bucket seat interior with 4-speed on the
floor, seats appear to be original. Key turns all the way around to
the right and then push button start on the dash to start this one!
Tachometer and fuel gauge functioning as they should be! Odometer
reads 68,552 miles, we cannot confirm miles to be original due to
age. Stereo will power up, but did not have any sound. This also
comes with a tool wrap and other misc parts. Stock sounding
Mercedes-Benz!
