This 1990 GMC Sierra 1500 Stepside is a very cool truck that takes
the style of a modern classic and gives it old-school muscle truck
flair. And since it's also loaded with everything from A/C to an
overdrive transmission, this makes for quite a unique and
comfortable cruiser.
This GMC recently became eligible for vintage plates in many places
that offer them. And while it's a part of a new class of classics,
this one has been customized to connect it to some of the best
vintage vehicles that came before it. This generation of GMC truck
did a great job of taking the traditional stepside bed and giving
it a more modern and sleeker style for a new level of appeal. And
this vintage but sleeker attitude is taken to heart throughout the
exterior. You have the smoother billet grille, deleted badging, and
a more recent respray of the correct deep red paint. The wheels
look like they have the torque thrust design you saw on the best
1960s muscle cars, but now these polished Legend alloys have a
modern 20-inch size. And the upgrade to the cowl hood has some more
of that muscle car/truck appeal.
The interior continues the red style, and it gives you a loaded,
clean, and comfy experience. You get the classic bench seat but
with added contouring and a nice velour. There's even a removable
cup holder center console. The carpeting, door panels, and the dash
pad all have a stock look in a nice and deep red. There are plenty
of nice features like power windows, power locks, a tilt steering
column, and cold R134A air conditioning. There's even an upgrade to
an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo for upgraded driving music.
The cowl hood is a classic GM muscle car piece, and beneath it is a
motor that takes that spirit, too. You have a 5.7-liter/350
cubic-inch V8 that has a big air grabber and finned SS valve covers
for a vintage performance look. Plus, this is built for power with
an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Holley intake, and headers.
So while the odometer represents the full mileage of this pickup,
there have also been plenty of investments updating and upgrading
it over the years. There are even quality supporting components
like a newer A/C compressor and an Optima red top battery. The
four-speed automatic transmission w/highway-friendly overdrive
makes this a solid cruiser. So do the power steering, power brakes
with front discs, and Goodyear Excellence sport tires.
Complete with owner's manual and window sticker, this is a truck
that has been given the right investment to be a unique classic
that still has an everyday kind of appeal. Call today!!!
