Award winning 1956 Chevrolet BelAir 2-door hardtop. Two owner '56
from Washington state. At the time of purchase had only 41,000
original miles. After a complete body off restoration done in 2004
has only 44,824 or 3824 miles since its completion! Gold
certificate Bow tie winner with a total point score of 981, and
Platinum award for best engine with an astonishing 987 points! The
NEW BelAir was built for road travel. Starting the frame with the
undercarriage has a chrome 9-inch rear end, 700R-transamission,
front disc brakes, and chrome tubular control arms. Winner of
Seattle Roadster Show most Outstanding Undercarriage award! The
Frame is done in Sierra Gold and every nut & bolt is either chrome
or polished billet... Beautiful.
The engine compartment is a work of art built by Jess Jones!
Powerful 350 ZZ4 engine with Holley carburetor, ceramic coated
Sanderson headers and a polished aluminum radiator. A custom-made
air cleaner done in a 2-tone white & Sierra Gold. Every part of ZZ
engine is either chrome or polish to a show finish. The body
received a new paint. Keeping true to the original colors of adobe
beige and Chrome Base sierra gold with clearcoat of 7500S Chrome
Clear was done by Kevin Bates of Kreative Kustoms.
The interior was left in the original '56 styling except the
steering wheel. The original wheel of 18-inchs was shrunk 2-inchs
smaller in diameter. Keeping the original appearance but making it
more comfortable to drive.
Other nice features include Power steering, Electric Fan, Multi
Disc CD Player, Amplifier, Tilt Column, Serpentine Belt System, and
an Auxiliary Gauge Pod!
