Vehicle Description
Sleek looks, an awesome interior, a fully upgraded suspension,
overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and a fuel-injected
big block V8 under the hood - this 1966 Chevrolet Impala SS Pro
Touring is a loaded and stunning machine from every angle.
You can tell they made a solid investment in a custom machine just
by its glow. It has the right mix of a gold hue with a metallic
champagne depth. So you just know that every time you give this a
comprehensive detail people will be asking if you're on your way to
a car show. And you'll love how the shine brings out the most in
this coupe's Coke-bottle curves. There's also plenty of silvery
brightwork to complement the gold, including the wide grille,
pointed front bumper, nicely integrated rear bumper, and upgraded
jewel-like headlights. And the full-length trim has a thin black
stripe. It goes so well with the 20-inch salt flat style wheels
done in an aggressive black.
The interior does a great job of being vintage with the right
upgrades that are well-integrated. The classic shades of beige and
brown inside go well with the exterior gold, and you know this
because the outside color returns on the dash and steering column.
There's a feeling of new here with the clean carpeting, nice door
panels, smooth dash, and a taut headliner. And the two-tone seats
with proper trim look so fresh that you'll proudly share this
full-size coupe with family and friends. You can even keep them
happy with R134a air conditioning (it may need a recharge to be
ideally cold.) But no matter how many people you take along for the
ride, you're always the priority. This is a real-deal Super Sport,
and so it has driver-oriented features like front bucket seats, a
center console, floor shifter, quad auxiliary gauges, and a factory
tach. Plus, that has been upgraded further with worthwhile features
like a sports steering wheel, tilt column, additional readouts, and
cruise control.
While this is a clean-looking hardtop inside and out, what makes it
a true pro touring machine starts with what's under the hood. The
callout may say 427 but this is actually a LARGER 454 cubic-inch
V8. They made sure this was ready to show off with smooth inner
wall, polished components, tidy wires, and thoughtful vintage
details like the windshield washer refill bottle. But it's not the
style that really makes you want this motor, it's the substance.
The big block is enhanced with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock
aluminum intake, and topped with a Holley Sniper electronic fuel
injection. It's supported by good pieces, like an MSD ignition,
steel braided lines, and a large aluminum radiator with dual
electric fans. And the long tube headers add power and rumble to
the X-pipe dual exhaust. And don't forget to check out the
undercarriage where you'll spot the full suspension upgrades with a
tubular A-arm front end, G Force crossmember, upgraded rear arms,
Hotchkis sway bars, and adjustable coilovers behind every wheel.
This was built to be a true driver with upgrades like the 700R4
four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive and an added torque
converter lock-up kit. There's also power steering, grippy ZR-rated
tires, and Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes.
Complete with build receipts, they seemed to have thought of
everything with this custom pro touring Impala. The only thing
that's missing is you. Call today!!!
