1946 Ford Convertible, real convertible, 60’s style hot rod, windshield posts chopped 3-1/2”, lead filled. New tires on all 4-corners for rollers on stock steel wheels, 283 sbc, 3-speed column shift, not original rear end, but correct for 40’s era. Car purchased from 2-nd owner from the San Diego area as his personal race car. The car supposedly has a lot of history as a true race car from the 60’s in San Diego. I never looked up the history , only believing in what the owner stated. The car has a 1941 Ford dash, without gauges. The car is bare bones, no seats, no interior, no convertible top mechanism's. The past owner stated he was going to make a Carson style top, due to the chop. Has rust, but very little. To me this is an easy restoration due to I build cars, but to the average Joe, he’ll knock the car. The car is in need of complete restoration & sold in AS-IS / WHERE-AS Condition. $11,500. obo or trade for 33 or 34 ford coupe body.
