Vehicle Description
This is one for power pony lovers because this 1992 Ford Mustang
has a fuel-injected 351 upgrade, a five-speed, and an enhanced rear
end to put some serious power to the pavement. And the exterior
certainly has the upgraded attitude to go with the upgraded
power.
The powerful style of this coupe is instantly as clear as black and
white. After all, the factory-correct Oxford White paint has been
resprayed later in life to keep it looking quite clean and bright.
It makes for a good background to introduce the speedy dark style
of the racing-style wheels, smoked headlights, deeply tinted
windows. There's even a clean black pinstripe showing off the good
body lines. A tall cowl hood, Cobra-style grille, hood pins, and an
awesome stance from the large Mickey Thompson rear tires make for
an awesome performance total package.
The LX is the luxury version, and so the interior keeps many of the
amenities you really want. This includes power windows, power
locks, power mirrors, an armrest center console, and provisions for
air conditioning (some of the components come with the sale to
restore the function.) And the radio is upgraded to an AM/FM/CD
unit with Bluetooth. It's a nice interior, right down to details,
like the clean trunk and working dome light. But while the full
package is attractive, you also know it was made for real drivers.
You have factory features like the well-bolstered bucket seats,
full gauges, and a well-placed shifter. And this is joined by Bosch
readouts on the A-pillar that give you a fuller picture of what's
going on under the hood.
While the 302ci/5.0-liter motor is part of this generation
Mustang's heritage, the larger 351 cubic-inch V8 has some great
chapters in the full Mustang history. So we love to see that kind
of upgrade under the hood. More than just added displacement, this
is a full well-built performance setup. This includes a TrickFlow
fuel-injection intake, Anderson cold air intake, TrickFlow valve
covers, AFR Renegade alum heads, and BBK headers. You'll also spot
good supporting components, like a serpentine belt setup, Ford
Motorsport plug wires, and an aluminum radiator with a large fan.
The shortened H-pipe dual exhaust has a powerful rumble, and you
control the full power and its high octane soundtrack with a
Borg-Warner five-speed manual transmission. Add in power steering,
power brakes with front discs, and a reinforced rear suspension,
and you've got a great Mustang for the streets.
Complete with the original warranty card and maintenance records,
this is a uniquely upgraded Mustang that's both powerful and
confident. So when all of this is also at such a nice price, you
need to hurry up and grab it. Call today!!!
