Vehicle Description
This 1956 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria has sleek paint, an A/C
interior, and an overall terrific cruiser style. And at the heart
of it all is a fuel-injected 302ci V8 upgrade that makes this one
the ultimate in classic car fun.
When you want a cool custom cruiser, the Crown Victoria is the
right place to start. It's easy to distinguish these as the highest
level of the already top-of-the-line Ford Fairlanes. Only these
have the encompassing brightwork that visually separates the front
and rear passenger compartments. This one goes the extra mile to
show off this distinctive feature by making sure this is an
award-worthy shine on the full brightwork package. And since the
chrome is brilliant, the paint needs to match the quality. The
burgundy paint was the ideal choice because it gives you a bold red
but with deeper tones so that the brightwork can really be noticed
against it. And the smooth shine showing off excellent body panels
lets you know this is the product of a thoughtful restoration. And
while you will see very few signs of this car ever hitting the
road, you also know it was made for driving. The bright dual
exhaust tips and classic Cragar SS wheels hint at the street
machine within.
The exterior burgundy returns inside on the carpeting, seatbelts,
and door trim. But what really steals the show here is the upgraded
white. The seats, door panels, parcel shelf, and even the dash have
been upgraded to a classic tuck and roll pattern that is pure
classic custom cool. There's a nice vintage style in details like
the working dome light and Ford family crest in the classic
steering wheels. But there are also upgrades to make this a better
driver. Some are for comfort, like the cup holders and cold-blowing
air conditioning. And pieces like the auxiliary gauge trio and EFI
touchscreen controller remind you of the extra power under the
hood.
It's nice to see a Ford get upgraded in the engine bay while still
keeping the power in the blue oval family. This is a 302 cubic-inch
V8, and it now benefits from added power and consistency with a
FAST electronic fuel injection system. It also has good supporting
components, like an aluminum radiator with electric fan and the
battery moved to the trunk for better weight distribution. This V8
fires up readily, and the Hedman ceramic-coated headers add power
while also helping give the dual exhaust a sweet tune. More than
just powerful, this one loves being an overall cruiser. That's why
there's a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and
power brakes w/front discs.
This is the classic Crown Victoria that has been upgraded for more
shine, style, and power. So you know it's right for you. Call
