1964 CHEVROLET CORVAIR MONZA SPYDER C-834 To play on GM's popular
Corvette and BelAir line of cars, the Corvair was developed as a
new line of mid-size cars. GM did not want to merely shrink the
size of a current car, but rather to develop a whole new style. The
Corvair featured the rear mounted engine, no tail fins or chrome
grill and was a major deviation from the typical car produced by
Detroit's Big Three. This Corvair Monza is coming off 40 years of
storage away from the elements. In 2017, the car emerged, a
complete and professional service on all mechanical parts was
performed and this Spyder came to life! The car received the
following: - Fresh Paint - New Carpet - New Tires - New Exhaust -
NOS replacement of all chrome body moldings Only 6,480 Corvair
Monza Spyders were produced in 1964, making it highly rare and
collectible. -Rare turbocharged model -Stored inside over 40 years
-Turbocharged 6-cylinder engine -4-speed transmission -Bucket seats
-Folding rear seat -New base/clear coat paint in 2017 -New carpet
and kick panels otherwise original interior -Original spare tire
and lock -New tires and gas shocks -Miscellaneous extras in trunk
-Rocker and wheel opening moldings replaced with NOS -New plugs and
