For Sale: 1961 Chevrolet Impala in Mooresville, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

HIGHLIGHTS: Four wheel air suspension! Metallic ghost flames! Killer stance sitting on staggered 17 & 18 inch Billet Specialties wheels! This rad ride will lay frame and looks absolutely stunning doing it!

BODY OVERVIEW: It looks like whoever customized this Impala started with a nice, restored car and then took it to a whole new level. The body is super straight and clean, and it looks like this may have been a show car in a past life.

PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Like the body, the paint looks fantastic and appears to be a very high-quality metallic respray. Silver isn't usually a color people associate with turning heads, but this thing flashes like chrome in the sun! The ghost flames somehow have even more metallic in them, and are the perfect subtle accent that gives this Impala just a little more bling-as if it needed it!

INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior has been previously restored to a very OEM look. The interior is in good condition, and looks to have been done almost completely factory-correct, which is a great contrast to the radical look of the exterior. Plus the red really pops! Tasteful custom additions include the aftermarket steering wheel, tilt column, AutoMeter tachometer and under dash gauges, and that ever-popular retro-modern shifter. It's a great combination of custom and OEM!

MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Open the hood and you'll find a nicely detailed and finished engine bay with hood mounted mirrors (though 2 of the 4 mirrors have previously made their exit). Further evidence that this was perhaps previously a show car! The engine is a crate Chevrolet small block that runs like a scalded dog, and is dressed in a very tasteful amount of billet and chrome goodies. Underneath the car you'll find power front disc brakes, airbags at all four corners (operated by a controller in the cabin) and a slick dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.

WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: There's something about a silver car that pops that is hard to pass up!

WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: If you're looking for a factory correct Impala, this probably isn't it.

DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The windshield wipers, heater, and reverse lights are not currently operational.

WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car is for someone looking to turn heads!
