Very Low Mileage 1981 Mazda RX-7 Model GSL. Current mileage 45,428. Average is about 1,100 miles per year. No accidents reported and three owners.
Leather interior, removable sunroof with cover, 5 speed manual transmission, power windows, cruise control, 4-wheel disk brakes, factory cassette player, power antenna. The AC option was not installed on this car.
Three owners. First two combined up to 43,508 miles. I have put on the 1,920 remaining. Clutch was replaced by the previous owners at 43,300. Service I have done since my purchase in 6/2021. New battery, new brake pads, replaced drivers’ side front caliper and repacked bearings. Tune up including new plugs, points, wires and new fuel and air filter. Changed transmission and differential fluids. Replaced the rear hatch struts and added floor mats.
Car must have been garaged its whole life. The red leather interior and the dark gray paint show no signs of fading. Car runs and drives as expected with only 45,000 miles. Everything works as it should. A true survivor. 2 keys. Original window sticker, owner’s manual, two repair manuals along with some receipts included.
Car is in excellent condition. Clean Carfax is attached along with a clear title.
There is a ding on the hood, windshield, and roof where something small bounced off (see pictures). There is also receipt from 2004 from “Erase A Dent”. Looks like a dent was pulled out on the hood and the paint was buffed out on that spot.
My reason for selling? A change in my world now requires a daily driver and I need to make more room.
