This beautiful Hemi Challenger Convertible is the result of a

One of 1,870 Challenger Convertibles built for the entire
production run of 1971! Rarified Air.
Powered by a 426 Hemi and backed by a 727 automatic trans this car
motivates as good as it looks and man does this car look great! We
just sold a Barracuda Convertible we had in inventory at Barrett
Jackson in January that was a very similar car- it sold for 187K.
This car, in many ways, is as good and as desirable. We advertised
the Cuda for considerably less than it sold for at Barrett and we
will do the same with this car. Don't wait until January and then
pay more money and all the fee's....
Built per the fender tag as a Hemi Orange Convertible this
Challenger came nicely equipped from the factory...Power Brakes,
Bucket Seats, Tinted Glass, LH Remote Racing Mirror, Air
Conditioning, Power Convertible Top, Radio and Accent stripes. Nice
equipment for a 71 Challenger that's for sure. Now let's put in a
426 Hemi to replace that 318 and now we are talking.
As earlier stated, the quality of the build on this car does not
disappoint. The underside, the engine compartment, the interior and
the body and paint are amazing. The restoration work was done with
care and to a very high level. Ehen you see this car in person it's
the type of car that makes you simply stop and stare.
The car does not currently have the air-conditioning installed and
if that is something that is not important to you take 4K off the
advertised price. If you'd like the air in the car no worries our
plans are to fit a vintage air kit to the factory air dash and have
a great working system.
Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a prized
possession, the choice is yours once you make it yours.
