Collectible Motor Car of Atlanta is pleased to offer this
hard-to-find 1977 Mini Cooper British Open Classic Edition. The
British Mini Open Classic was a limited run of 1000 cars for the UK
market. And two limited runs for the German market. This British
Open was actually built in 1995, imported from Germany in 2007 as a
1977 Leyland Mini, due to the U.S. limitations. Many of you know
the Classic Cars from Germany have a requirement of being at least
25 years old to pass through. So, no worries, this is a
clear-titled LHD (left hand drive) 1977 Mini Cooper! This Mini
Cooper is very well-known in the Mini community throughout the
state of Georgia and beyond- attended the Minis United meet in
Wytheville, VA multiple times, Autumn in the Appalachians, The Tail
of The Dragon Mini meets, and many others.
The Mini British Open looks appropriate finished in classic British
Racing Green with Gold Pinstriping over Stone Beige Countryman
tweed and leather. A very unique feature is the Webasto
power-operated fabric top finished in Black. The woodgrain in the
interior ads a touch of sophistication along with the
leather-wrapped steering wheel. Under the hood lies a very potent
1275cc backed by a smooth 4-speed manual transmission. The rack and
pinion steering gives a complete feel of the road and handles
sticky situations with ease. The 12" Minilite-style alloy wheels
with recent tires keeps this little street bruiser right where you
steer it. This is the first time this Mini has been offered for
sale in the States as it has been lovingly owned by a private
collector for the past 14 years and meticulously maintained. Mini
lovers, this is a rare opportunity to obtain a low-mileage,
well-documented, unique gem. Inquire today.
