This 1937 Ford Coupe has a dark and sleek look of a V8-powered
street machine. But when you sit down in the A/C interior, you feel
the comfort and see all the loaded features that let you know this
one is really a thoughtful cruiser.
We love glossy black because it has the kind of aggressive tone
that we love on a street machine. The finish has a few years on it,
but as you can see from the pictures, it's still sleek and
impressive. The result is an ideal mix of a sharp-looking coupe
that you also won't hesitate to drive to any weekend event. And
when you have an all-steel business coupe, it's worth showing off.
After all, the '37 Ford is a true icon with the distinct grille,
chrome bumpers, and teardrop headlights. And there's even a
vintage-style 1937 Georgia license plate. But this one also has the
unmistakable custom style of a street machine. There are terrific
custom details like the sport mirrors, frenched taillights, large
dual exhaust tips, and polished American racing wheels with
16/17-inch front/rear stance give this plenty of upgraded sporty
style.
Inside is a very inviting classic. The tan on the seats, headliner,
and custom door panels look good against the glossy black dash and
plush black carpeting. The large trunk of this coupe was even done
to match. There are also cool details everywhere from the billet
handles on the doors, to the custom storage behind the seat. There
are great features like an AM/FM/CD stereo in the overhead console,
R134a air conditioning (like needs a recharge,) tinted windows, and
the rarely-seen cruise control. It's part of a great driving
package. In fact, you can tell this one wants to engage the driver
with the well-bolstered bucket seats, a sports steering wheel on a
tilt column, and white-faced AutoMeter gauges that look cool
against the black dash.
The interior continues the feeling that this car is made for both
showing and enjoying. The V8 has a ton of added investment polished
components. Today it has the right balance of looking good for a
driver today, and just some added shining away from being ready for
the Sunday car show. And this motor has the kind of substance that
makes for a quality driver. It's a Goodwrench 350 cubic-inch V8
crate motor that has been upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, Edelbrock Performer intake, and headers feeding into
the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. It makes for a solid
power package, and as you look underneath, you can see there have
been the right investments to enjoy it to the fullest. You have a
reinforced chassis, a Mustang II-style front end, rack & pinion
power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and power
brakes with discs in front.
Complete with title documentation, this is the coupe that has a
sleek style and a comfortable driving nature for enjoying near or
far. That really makes it a total package classic. Don't miss out,
