1961 Ford F100 pickup. Purchased for spare parts in 2001 for my 1962 F100, both built in San Jose four months apart. Parts it was bought for were not needed and instead it sat inside my garage for the past 20 years while my 62 was outside. It is time to let someone else have it to restore and to enjoy while my 62 now resides in my garage.
It is in good condition, originally Corinthian White, it has no major body or frame damage. It is in good running shape and it is able to drive daily. Only 70,000 original miles. I am the third owner. I use it occasionally for trips to the dump or lumber yard or to move furniture and equipment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to restore a Fleetside ‘59 to ‘66 F100. There are not too many available in this condition. A good coat of paint and it will be fine for holiday parades and similar social events. It is not going to be possible to restore it to showroom condition, but it will be great for local driving and for owning a historic vehicle.
A replacement hood and hinges are included. Also, comes with a replacement front left fender, where the original needs to be replaced. Many normal automotive aging issues have been addressed, including new starter motor, radiator, and Ford OEM carburetor rebuild kit. The CA license is up to date and it is fully insured, ready to drive away.
