Vehicle Description
A completely refreshed Ford came in 1935 with the 4-cylinder no
longer being offered, leaving just the 221 Cubic Inch V8 to power
every Ford car and truck. The body was lowered and new comfort
seating was designed. It was a much more modern car with a pushed
forward grille and integrating fenders into the body. Another major
design advance was integrating the trunk into the body. With many
being pulled apart for steel during war time, others being
hot-rodded or customized, it is something very special when you can
find one with that good ol' Henry steel and that flathead V8 still
in place.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this well restored and highly
original example of the 1935 Ford Convertible for your
consideration. The car was striped to bare bones and according to
the owner thiere is just 10 miles on the car since it was painted.
The car came out of Oregon. With all the right pieces in place,
this vehicle shows like new but with what appears to be all
original powertrain, the body appears to be all steel with a quick
feel with a magnet and overall this is one of the best pre-war
convertibles we have had! The exterior shows excellently with its
chrome bumpers, trim, grill, glass, paint and wheels all in great
shape, the red painted wheels is a great touch to make this one
stand out and with the rumble seat for a trunk and a drop top ready
and willing to put the wind in your hair, this is as good as they
get!
