The Ford F100 was known for reliability and ruggedness and was an
integral part of American history. Their timeless design, style and
utilitarian nature make them useful classics to own and care for
and they represent the American dream for many as they were used by
many businesses and workers at a time considered great by many. The
sixth generation F-series was introduced in 1973. This version of
the F-series continued to be built on the 1965 fourth generation's
revised platform, but with significant modernizations and
refinements. Front disc brakes, increased cabin dimensions, gas
tank relocated outside the cab and under the bed, significantly
improved heating and air conditioning, full double wall bed
construction, increased use of galvanized steel, and SuperCab all
were introduced in the sixth generation pickup.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1975 Ford F100 4x4 for
your consideration. The 1975 Ford F100 4X4 offered here is a true,
F11 code F100 series truck. The truck is finished in its original
paint still wearing the colors of Wimbledon White and Vineyard
Gold. This truck was brought to Michigan 4 years ago and was
harvested out of Portland, Oregon. It is powered by a 460 v8
plucked out of a 1976 Lincoln. The Transmission was redone and
resealed last spring. The truck also has a brand new carburetor.
Mechanically this truck is very strong. As you can see in the
photos, even the cab lights work.
Classic Ford 4X4 pick ups are red hot in today's collector car and
4x4 market. This truck looks and is tough; it is turn key and ready
for immediate use.
