See yourself in this rare and beautiful car that was designed and built by Ron Sparks of Pacific Motors Corporation of Marina Del Ray California. This is NOT a kit car and fewer than 30 were manufactured. Another car of the same model was used in a few television series (Flamingo Road and Hunter) and a movie (Six Weeks).
This D' Elegance model roadster with a rumble seat and side mounts has a GM V8 engine and transmission with a little over 8,000 miles and is in good overall unrestored condition. It was purchased from the long time owner who owned the car for 20 years. For driving comfort, the car has air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, and power steering and brakes. The car is a crowd pleader and draws attention wherever it goes.
This car has many unique features including:
*Nardi Steering Wheel
*AM/FM Cassette Radio
*Custom Dashboard of Burled Hardwood
*Connelly Leather Seats
*Running boards of Chrome Steel Trimmed in Hardwood
*Hand Carved Crystal Hood Ornament
*Chromed Luggage Rack Wood Trimmed
*Hand Etched Vent Windows
*Dual Trumpet Chromed Horns
Upon pulling this unrestored neo classic from long term storage, the fuel tank was flushed, the carburetor rebuilt, and four tires were replaced.
Pluses: Runs and drives well, original 17 coat lacquer paint and I would consider an 8.5 of 10, undercarriage is very clean.
Opportunities: Air conditioning and power antenna do not work, wire wheels have some rust / pitting and some chrome has some spot pitting, leather seats are dry with two tears in the passenger seat, and one of the side mount covers has rot at the bottom of the covers which would be tucked in when the tire is attached.
This 8,000 actual mileage car is a unique 4,000 pound car with a solid ride.
