Vehicle Description
This completely custom-built 1976 Ford B-100 known as "El Chapo"
was built by River City Rods and Fabrication and made its debut at
SEMA 2018. It's powered by a second-generation Coyote 5.0-liter V8
engine dressed in one-off two-piece billet valve covers, dual
throttle-body Holley Dominator EFI, C&R Racing radiator, custom
air cleaner, Painless wiring, Odyssey battery and MagnaFlow
exhaust. The engine is mated to an MT82 6-speed manual transmission
with a Hurst shifter turning a Currie rear end. It sits on a
Roadster Shop SPEC Series chassis with airbags and RideTech air
management system with RideTech shocks. Stopping power comes from a
Wilwood 14-inch big brake kit in the front and 13-inch in the rear.
The body has many customizations, including a chopped roof, custom
machined roof ribs, flush-mounted side glass and windshield laid
back 10 degrees. The one-off billet grille made to emulate a
late-model Ford Raptor started as a half-ton chunk of aluminum and
was shaved down to a 73-pound piece. It's finished in a PPG
Graphite Metallic Blue paint, with custom Dynamics LED headlights
and driving lights, as well as Rad Machining emblems. The interior
is completely custom with a steel dash fitted with a Dakota Digital
gauge cluster, Ididit steering column, Resto-Mod Air
Bluetooth-controlled air conditioning unit, Thermo-Tec sound and
heat protection, and Ford Thunderbird seats in front and rear. The
stereo system has two 12-inch Kicker subwoofers and four 6.5-inch
Kicker component sets powered by two Kicker Amplifiers. "El Chapo"
sits on 20 and 22-inch one-off custom wheels from Curtis Speed
Equipment wrapped in Michelin Pilot super sport tires. "El Chapo"
has been featured in many online and print publications, including
MotorTrend's Truck Trend magazine. Awards include Goodguys Ford
Truck Choice and 2020 Truck of the Year late finalist. **SOLD ON
