and clear South Carolina title. 2001 BMW Z3 M Coupe with the S54
B32 engineCan you say 'distinct styling'? BMW is generally a
company that likes to play it safe, but their history is littered
with examples of them going a little bit off-piste. The 1990s was a
golden time for this, and one of the madder creations they came out
with was this - the Z3 M Coupe. Designed in-house as a project
aimed to 'fix' the Z3's less than brilliant handling, BMW created a
legend.The Z3 M versions were introduced in 1997 in the roadster (M
Roadster) and coupe (M Coupe) body styles. Powered by the S50
inline-six engine, S52, or S54 straight-six engine depending on
country and model year. The Z3M was only available with a 5-speed
manual transmission. Compared to the standard Z3, M models featured
a limited slip differential, a wider rear track, and larger brakes
(that are shared with the E36 M3). The Z3 was based on the E36 3
Series platform, while using the rear semi-trailing arm suspension
design of the older E30 3 Series. It is the first mass-produced Z
Series car. Production ended on June 28, 2002, with the Z3 line
replaced by the E85 Z4.Z3 M models were available in M-specific
colors, they feature more aerodynamic wing-mirrors as well as
redesigned front and rear bumpers and bespoke 'Roadstar' Style 40
wheels, revised side gill and quad exhausts.The interior can also
be differentiated by the voltmeter, clock and oil temperature
gauges in the center console, leather-wrapped center console and
door pulls, as well as unique M-styled seats and interior color
options.Our beautiful and original Z3 M was delivered in Japan and
imported in 2018 to Germany. She has 90% original paint and the
interior is very well taken care of. She still has all her horses
from the 315 hp S54 B32 engine. More powerful than the 2000 and
earlier models.She comes with all her books and invoices.
