Why This Car Is Special
In 1963 Corvette stepped out with a new and exhilarating look, the
Corvette Stingray. The Corvette Sports Coupe, boasted graceful body
panels and compound-curved side windows that emphasize the
miles-ahead aerodynamic design.
The 1963 Corvette Sports Coupe, or as usually referred to as the
Spit Window, like what we have here at Skyway Classics is one of
the most sought after Corvettes by collectors all over the world
today.
We have a high-quality Split Window here that has had a new paint
job and cosmetic restoration on a good solid body and chassis. It
is a very early production car built in October 1962, verified by

Interior
This Sting Ray offers a completely luxurious driving environment
for 1963 and features a more subtle texture in dark blue on its
individual twin bucket-type seats with a factory bolster-like
design for more seating comfort and better lateral support.
The blue theme extends to the carpet, door panels, and dual sun
visors with controls for the outside-air-type heater and defroster
located on the central console along with the electrical clock and
radio controls and vent controls that are located under the
instrument panel on each side of the steering column.
Everything else inside looks NCRS ready and as it was when it left
the factory.
Exterior
The styling changes on our 1963 Corvette are beautiful and ours is
covered with its repainted in the original shade of Silver Blue
paint job flowing over the twin mesh hood louvers and side louvers
behind the front wheels giving it both an aggressive and
sophisticated look.
The lines are taut, fresh, and clean in every detail accented front
and rear by trim wrap-around bumpers. The subtle contour of the
rear window with the iconic Split Window add to the appeal of this
sharp Corvette.
It has Knock-Off wheels and whitewall tires which recreate the
original look, but also come with a full set of correct hubcaps,
wheels, 4-new tires and jack included with the sale
