1951 FORD CUSTOM DELUXE CONVERTIBLE C-855 The Ford Custom Deluxe
was marketed as an upper middle class passenger car manufactured by
Ford in the USA in the model years 1950 and 1951 . It was the
successor to the Ford Super Deluxe and represented the top model.
It had a 239ci V8 flathead engine that developed an output of
100hp. This Ford gets it right. After all, any classic convertible
always looks terrific in a high-gloss black. You can tell there was
a solid investment in a modern application here just by the
piano-like presentation that loves the sunshine. Like any good
1950s car, there's plenty of chrome on the bumpers and the highly
stylized grille. And the dual bullet-nose grille is a

instantly nostalgic. Plus, details like the chrome dual spotlights,
blue-dot taillights and chromed dual exhaust tips let you know
there's a touch more custom cruiser to this one. The tan
convertible top has the kind of timeless appeal that adds to the
premium look of this classic. When the tan top is down, the classic
red and black interior is showcased. It carries quite a clean and
fresh style while still feeling quite authentic. So you'll love
grabbing the stylized Ford steering wheel and looking out over the
dash with the large art deco speedometer. There are even cool
details such as the AM radio. As vintage as this is, you can also
feel the subtle reassurance of quality investments. This year Ford
also added a new "turn-key" ignition. Under the hood is a clean and
tidy way to showcase Ford's famous flathead V8. This 239ci flathead
V8 unit has the look of good care and plenty of upgrades. The V8
fires up eagerly, runs smoothly, and the dual exhaust makes a nice
