A sleek 1971 Chevrolet Nova is always going to be attractive, but
this fresh build is also a restomod with all the best irresistible
power-driving upgrades. It starts with the fuel-injected LSX 454
motor. And there's also an upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc
brakes, and a five-speed to control it all.
Third-generation Novas are great cars. The fastback styling
combined with the reputation for being ready-made performance
machines make these a highly desirable classic. But this one
instantly stands out as something more modern. The paint has the
right look of Nardo Gray that comes on the best European sports car
today. This is a fresh restoration, and you can tell they sweated
the details on the body by the smooth touch of the paint and the
precision fit of the panels. So while this is a true classic
American, it basically gives the impression of a modern German
build. The paint and body also go well with the dark details of the
blackout SS grille, rear panels, and hood vent trim. Plus, the
wheels bring the full package together. They fit in with the black
accents, and the modern 18-inch size goes with the modem paint to
make sure people know you have a restomod.
The bold red interior is another one of those details that make
this Chevy more like a BMW or Audi. The plush carpet, taut
hardliner, smooth dash, detailed door panels, and nice upholstery
all have the fresh feel of a quality investment. It's the kind of
interior that you'll proudly display at the car shows, but the real
fun is the driver-oriented setup. This means high-back front bucket
seats, a classic Chevy sports steering wheel, power steering, an
auxiliary gauge trio under the dash, and a Hurst floor shifter. And
the Go-EFI controller that tucks under the dash is a big reminder
that you're going to love what's under the hood.
The engine bay has a fantastic presentation with clean/smooth inner
walls that makes it obvious there's a modern V8 shoehorned into
this compact rocket ship. It's a 454 cubic-inch LSX V8. It's truly
an awesome powerhouse to have, because even the big block Nova
Super Sports from this generation never got the mighty 454, and
this one is not a modern fuel-injected powerhouse. The LS crate
motors are built to be 600+ hp big power kings right out of the box
with a fortified construction and aluminum heads. And this one even
has further enhancements like a FiTech programmable EFI system, an
Edelbrock EFI fuel regulator, and Hustler headers feeding the
X-pipe dual exhaust. This is a big power package, and you get to
take full advantage of it with the Tremec TKO five-speed manual
transmission feeding a stout 9-inch rear end. As you look
underneath, you can see how fresh this car is over every inch. And
you'll also spot pieces like the fresh urethane bushings and a
tubular A-arm front end that give this added confidence out on the
road. Plus, the grippy ZR-rated tires and Wilwood four-wheel disc
brakes with drilled & slotted rotors give you superior stopping
power.
This car is an awesome power machine with an award-worthy fit and
finish. There are details you may do over time for a full cruiser
style like adjust the clutch or add a stereo. But from day one, you
know this Nova announces from every angle that you have something
special. So if you demand power and distinction, you know this is
the restomod you need. Call today!!!
