This 1969 Chevrolet Nova has very cool SS upgrades that are
instantly attractive. But more than just look like Super Sport,
this pays proper tribute with an enhanced small block,
four-on-the-floor, and even cool little details, like the
classic/correct tach.
Butternut Yellow is a great subtle Chevy color, and because this
one is an upgrade later in life, it continues to have a bright
style today. The trim tag tells us the black vinyl top is correct
for this car. It has the taut look of an excellent investment, and
this kicks off a coordinated black package that looks terrific
against the yellow. This includes the blackout SS grille, blackout
rear panel, and full-length side trim that also highlights the
quality of the panel fit. There are also some subtle upgrades that
really help make this a standout. The crystal clear headlights
complement the bright chrome bumper. The hood has SS-style vents
and is made of lightweight fiberglass. And the wheels were upgraded
to a 15-inch set of the classic Rally style that also has a larger
rear set of tires for a sporty stance.
More of the attractive darkness continues inside with the full
black interior. The door cards, carpets, headliner, dash, and seat
upholstery all show well. You'll even spot good details, like
working dome light. There are two wide bench seats for family and
friends to spread out, and you have an upgraded AM/FM/iPod stereo
and speakers to keep them happy. But this one is also made to be a
great all-around driver. So you have a grippy GM sports steering
wheel, Hurst floor shifter, and clean classic gauges - including
the handy tach.
The engine bay has a nice look with details like the classic air
grabber, classic battery cover, and full GM classic orange on the
block...but those finned valve covers tell you there's more there
than just vintage. The 350 cubic-inch V8 is a crate motor that is
upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor Edelbrock intake,
and Hedman long tube headers feeding the dual exhaust. And the mild
cam gives this one the right power and rumble for a great SS
tribute. It's a strong-running package, and you get full control of
the enhanced V8 power and its soundtrack thanks to a Muncie M21
four-speed manual transmission.
This Nova has the distinct look, cool extras, and added power
you'll love. So you know you can't let it slip away. Call
