Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera
Targa. Our client bought this 911 nearly 20 years ago and daily
drive it for a few years in the early 2000s until her children
outgrew the back seats. Finished in Zinnmetallic (literally
translated as Tin Metallic - a lovely silver shade with just a hint
of brown - some would call it Pewter). Cosmetically it presents to
a good driver standard inside and out. There are a few minor marks
in the paint from normal use but no rust and no accident damage.
Interior is all original and has held up well - excellent
crack-free dash and nice original door panels. Leather seats remain
in good condition, with a few seams just starting to split but no
cracks, holes or tears in the leather.
This 911 has not been driven or serviced much over the last decade.
The 3.2 liter flat six starts easily, runs well and the engine
feels and sounds healthy (and is remarkably leak-free) but the car
has a few minor deferred maintenance needs (which is reflected in
our asking price). Owner's books and complete tool roll included.
This is an excellent value for an air-cooled 911 with good bones
that only needs some minor TLC to bring the maintenance up to date.
