European Collectibles performed a ground-up restoration for one of
our clients on this 1964 356C Cabriolet over a 20-month period from
2012 to 2014. During the restoration, this 356 was completely
disassembled so that every aspect could be properly addressed.
Everything has been rebuilt or restored including the matching
1600cc engine, 4-speed manual 741 transmission, and four-wheel disc
brake system. On July 1, 2021, at 27,070 miles, Sublime Silverlake
in Los Angeles, California performed an oil change, oil filter
replacement, installed five (5) Vredestein Sprint Classic 165 HR15
tires, and a new battery was installed.
Mechanically powered by its matching 1600cc flat-four engine
(producing 75hp) that runs phenomenally with a matching (741)
4-speed manual transmission. Offered with tools, owner's manual,
boot cover, and Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche confirming
matching decks, doors, and driveline. Examples such as this come to
market infrequently and make an excellent addition to any
collection.
