From our museum collection is this very rare 1969 Ford Torino
hardtop with the 428 Super Cobra Jet motor, 4 speed manual
transmission and a 3.91 Traction-Lok rear end!!! It has just 6k
actual miles!!! We did a complete ground up restoration on it a few
years ago in our award winning restoration shop. According the the
Deluxe Marti Report it is 1 of 399 Super Cobra Jet cars built and 1
of 31 red and black cars built. It was bought new by the original
owner who drag raced it as soon as he got it. This explains the low
mileage as he never used it as a daily driver. A friend of ours
found it several years ago and bought it then sold it to us. It is
a gorgeous and rare Super Cobra Jet Torino and needs to be
preserved in a serious Ford collection!!!
