This was my father, Bob Albano's, last car that he rebuilt prior to his death at the age of 80. His intention was to take it to a car show and then to sell it. It was all shined up and ready when he died. I took it to a show in his honor after his death and his car received a second-place trophy. It was fitting that I completed what he started and now it needs to go to a good home.
Bob's expertise and love of rebuilding cars was rewarded with many trophies for his 1948 Mercury Coupe, 1958 Corvette, Twin Engine T-Bucket Roadster, 1970 Cutlass with a blown 350 and a Willys Overland Touring Car. He built the cars to show and then sell, allowing him to purchase a new project.
