Ford introduced the 10th generation of the F-150 in 1997. It was
the first redesign since 1980 and the all-new F-150 was voted Motor
Trend's 'Truck of the Year' for '97. This 1997 F-150 XLT
regular-cab is an eye-catcher. Its stunning Oxford White/Blue Pearl
exterior is accented by multi-colored metalflake custom stripping
and chrome bumpers. The F-150 is also equipped with chrome side
step-bars and factory 16" alloy wheels mount BFGoodrich Long Trail
T/A radials. The Flareside short-bed has a sprayed-in liner/soft
tonneau cover and a HD Reese 2" receiver has been installed for
towing applications. The original grey leather interior w/60-40
seat has been well maintained and XLT convenience/safety features
include A/C, power-tinted windows, cruise, tilt wheel, power locks
and driver/passenger front airbags. There is also a full
instrumentation package w/tachometer, walnut trim, overhead console
w/LED lighting, Alpine AM/FM/CD sound system and a sliding rear cab
window. This F-150 is powered by Ford's Triton 4.6L SOHC V8 that
has been fitted with an aftermarket cold-air intake system and dual
exhaust. Factory output is rated at 220bhp/280lb/ft and it is
backed by a 4-speed automatic w/overdrive. Chassis features include
