STK 3113 1986 Chevrolet Corvette
A new Chevrolet Corvette, the C4, replaced the aging C3 model in
1984. At the time, it was as close to a factory racecar as GM had
ever produced. Performance was key - power, handling, braking - all
were stellar compared to the C3. Each year, GM worked to improve on
their stellar creation. New features for the 1986 model included
ABS brakes and a VATS (Vehicle Anti-Theft) system. This beautiful,
original coupe is a great example of the '86 model. The Bright Red
exterior is in very good condition and is complimented by factory
16" polished alloys that mount nice radials. As with all C4 coupes,
there is a one-piece removable roof panel - a good Targa design
that was known to be weather-tight. This smoked glass panel
(optional) is in excellent condition. The original Red leather
interior is fitted with sport seats and a tilt/telescopic wheel.
Other enhancements include: air conditioning, power locks, power
tinted windows, cruise control and a Bose AM/FM/Cassette stereo
system. The coupe is powered by the L-98/350ci small-block with
Tuned-Port Fuel Injection that produces 230bhp @4000 RPM and 330
lb/ft torque and is backed by a 4-speed automatic gearbox. Factory
gearing for Corvettes equipped with the automatic transmission was
2.59:1. The Corvette C4 is equipped with power steering, 4-wheel
ABS (Bosch) power disc brakes and a sport exhaust system. This
beautiful '86 Corvette has been very well cared for and is now
